FAQ'S

How would you describe your style?

My style is a pleasing blend of fine art and photojournalism with an emphasis on composition, lighting, and background.  Using interesting environments I encourage my clients to relax, interact and have fun!  My photos capture spontaneity of candids while also offering the technical control of posed shots.  During portraits I will help "stage" the set up.  I will make suggestions, help you feel relaxed and comfortable so that I can capture your chemistry and excitement.

Are you available to travel?  How does this work?

Yes, I am available for travel to any destination and have photographed all around the world.  I love to travel!  I do my own bookings for flight, car rental if necessary, and hotel (unless there is a room available where guests are staying and you'd prefer me to stay there).  Travel expenses will be booked and added into the cost of the package, upon your approval so it's easy to consider a non-local photographer.

Do we need to provide a shot list?

You will not need to make a shot list for the day.  I will be documenting all the main events of the day plus details, the guests, locations, etc.  The lists that I would like is for the traditional family photos you would like and of course anything else!

What type of equipment do you use?

Canon Series 6D and 5D Mark III, Canon Lens 24-70, f2.8, 50mm, f1.4, 70-200 f2.8 , Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom

When do we get to see the photos?

Depending on the type of session we can work out a delivery time that is best for both of us.  A lot of love and care goes into editing each and every photo to make sure it's beautiful and ready to print or add to an album.

Engagements -

Many couples may have personal suggestions on their "spot" which is great to give it that personal touch.  If you're not sure where you want to shoot your session, I have ideas for you!  Examples: Rustic Romantic, City, Beaches.
